Resident Meal Plans

All students living on campus in housing without full kitchens are required to have a Resident Meal Plan. When choosing your meal plan, remember to select the option that will provide enough meals to last throughout the 16-week semester.

What’s the difference between Meal Swipes and Flex Points?

Meal Swipes

  • Used for meals at Dow Commons Dining Hall
  • Swipes must be used during the current semester and do not roll over to the next semester or school year

Flex Points/Flex Dollars

  • Unused points from the current semester will roll over to the next semester, but all remaining points expire at the end of the academic year
  • Used to purchase meals, snacks, and beverages at Mid Cafe, Wolf Den, North Village Bistro, and The Marketplace
  • Flex points can be used throughout the full academic year
Out of meals?

Students who run out of meals before the semester is over may purchase a block of 30 additional meals for $425, or must purchase individual meals at any of the Dining Services locations, at an additional cost.
